Eleanor Quilts respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to do the same. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), we respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.

How to send a notice

Email info.meilingsiewlan@gmail.com with the subject "DMCA notice". Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you say is infringing, including the exact URL(s) on our site.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices missing this information may not be valid under the DMCA.

Notices made in bad faith

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you're unsure, please consult an attorney before sending a notice.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notification with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court. After a valid counter-notification we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant tells us they have filed a court action.
